Child Safety Standards
Annyeong is an 18+ social community for BTS ARMY and is committed to maintaining a safe environment for its users. We have zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Annyeong is an independent, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HYBE Corporation, BigHit Music, or BTS.
1. Our zero-tolerance policy
Annyeong strictly prohibits any content, behaviour, communication, or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or facilitates harm to a child. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM);
- sexual exploitation or sexualisation of minors;
- grooming, or attempting to establish contact with a child for sexual purposes;
- solicitation or exchange of sexual content involving minors;
- sextortion involving minors;
- trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of children;
- requesting, creating, uploading, distributing, sharing, storing, promoting, or otherwise facilitating CSAE or CSAM through Annyeong;
- links or instructions intended to facilitate access to CSAM.
These standards apply to all user-generated content and interactions available through Annyeong — including profiles, profile photos, usernames and bios, messages, group conversations, uploaded or shared content, and shared links.
2. Annyeong is for adults only
Annyeong is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older. Users must meet our minimum age requirement to create and maintain an account, as set out in our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Accounts reasonably determined to belong to users who do not meet our age requirement may be restricted or removed in accordance with our policies.
Our 18+ requirement does not reduce or replace our commitment to preventing and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
3. Reporting child-safety concerns
Users can report concerning users, profiles, conversations, or other supported content using the reporting tools available within Annyeong. Reports are confidential.
If you become aware of suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation connected to Annyeong, please report it through the in-app reporting tools or contact us at [email protected].
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law-enforcement or emergency authorities right away. Annyeong is not an emergency service.
4. How we respond
When Annyeong obtains actual knowledge of content or conduct that violates these standards, we take appropriate action based on the circumstances and applicable law. Actions may include:
- removing prohibited content where applicable;
- restricting, suspending, or terminating accounts;
- preserving relevant information where legally required;
- reviewing and investigating reported activity in accordance with applicable procedures;
- cooperating with competent authorities where legally required.
5. Reporting to authorities
Annyeong complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. Where required by applicable law, Annyeong will report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional or national authority, and will cooperate with lawful investigations.
6. Child Safety Point of Contact
For communications concerning potential CSAE or CSAM on Annyeong, including child-safety notifications from Google Play, contact:
This contact is responsible for receiving child-safety communications and ensuring that appropriate review and enforcement procedures are initiated.
7. Updates to these standards
